Spoken Example & Introduction
There are a handful of mispronunciations in this video, and at least one grammar error i've noticed. please excuse them if you notice, i'm not perfect lol and believe it or not i'm not quite fluent in Taxnul.
About Taxnul
Taxnul is my personal conlang. I've been working on it since around 2015, along with a conworld to go with it. I really don't expect anyone else to really care about any of this; it's all just for my own personal entertainment.
Certain parts of Taxnul are loosely inspired by my second language, German, like a handful of cognates and some of the syntax. Other than that, the language is largely a priori. The phonology and phonotactics are generally simply based on what I personally find to sound nice. As such, it may seem ameteurish or unnatural but i really dont care about those criticisms; being that Taxnul is purely a personal passion project :^p
My long-term goals with Taxnul aren't super well-defined. Though, for now, i'm aiming to expand the lexicon to somewhere around 5,000 words or so; enough to generally be able to describe most situations i think. After that point, i'd like to personally become a fluent speaker, and maybe have some other interested people learn it as well. That being said, i doubt i'll ever be "finished" with Taxnul. I imagine it just being a constant project in the background of my life for many years to come.
